Alpha Food & NutritionChildren 11–16

Doctor-signed nutrition for 11–16 year olds

Every evening at 7, your family knows exactly what tomorrow’s food is.

A dietitian and a doctor build a plan around the foods your child already likes, work around allergies, and then we message the next day’s menu — every day, for the length of your plan.

Our story

It started at a dining table, not in a clinic.

Alpha Food & Nutrition began when our founder watched his own nephew — thirteen, growing fast, tired by 4 PM — eat the same two things every day because nobody in the house had the time to plan anything else. The paediatrician’s advice was right and completely unusable: “balanced meals, less junk.”

What a busy family actually needs is tomorrow’s answer, tonight. So we built a small team — a paediatric doctor, a clinical dietitian and a handful of parents — and spent a year turning good nutrition into a message that lands at 7 PM and fits what is already in your kitchen.

We are based in India, our plans are built around Indian home food, and every plan is signed by a doctor before a family sees it. That last part is not a feature. It is the reason we exist.

Families

What changes is the evening, not just the plate.

Shared with permission, names withheld. We do not publish weights or measurements — children are not before-and-after photos.

“The first week she picked her own breakfast options from the list and actually ate them. The 7 PM message became our thing — she reads it out at dinner.”

Mother of a 12-year-old, Hyderabad

“One is allergic to peanuts, the other is not. Two menus, same kitchen, nothing I had to remember. That alone was worth it.”

Father of twins, 15, Visakhapatnam

“Exam month used to mean biscuits and Maggi. This time the plan switched to exam-week menus by itself and the doctor checked in once.”

Why it matters

Why child nutrition deserves a real plan.

General wellness guidance, not medical treatment. If your child has a diagnosed condition, our doctor coordinates with your paediatrician.

Ages 11–16 are a second growth spurt

Bone, muscle and brain development all accelerate. Iron, calcium, protein and regular meals matter more now than at any time since infancy.

Habits set now tend to stick

The breakfast a child eats at 13 is a strong predictor of the breakfast they eat at 23. Small, repeatable choices beat strict rules.

School days are the hardest days

Early buses, canteen food, tuition in the evening. A plan that ignores the school timetable is a plan that gets ignored.

Food is also mood, sleep and focus

Parents usually notice the 4 PM crash before anything else. Steady meals and water are often the simplest fix.

Why us

What makes Alpha different.

A doctor signs every plan

Not a template, not an app suggestion. A named clinician reviews intake, allergies and history and signs before you see it.

Portions in grams, not “a bowl”

You tick the dishes your kitchen already makes — once a quarter. We turn them into a ten-day routine with the exact katori, piece count and grams for each meal, the time to serve it, and how much water goes between.

Allergies handled, not just noted

Mark peanuts, dairy, gluten, eggs or anything custom. Those foods never appear in that child’s menus — and the doctor sees the list before signing.

7 PM, every day, for the whole plan

Tomorrow’s plate arrives the evening before — each meal with its time, quantity and a line on how to serve it. The nutritionist adjusts portions as your child grows; you never re-fill the form mid-plan.

Start with the free intake.

Ten minutes. A dietitian reads it within two working days.
